It was perfection from the beginning to the end. This year wait was worth it.

How can I start describing a perfect book?

When I started reading The Rose Society I fell in love with it instantly. I been waiting over a year for this book and it was worth the wait. It took me sometime to read because it was so good, I was savoring every word, every sentence, every scene. Adelina is darker now, she’s full of wraith and ready for revenge. Her character is one of a kind and totally not your typical hero, she’s actually the villain. I loved to read again about these characters who stole my heart last year. Raffaele, being all perfect and that. In this book we meet more characters that now I love. I can’t go on more details about characters because I can’t spoil anything. I was glad that I didn’t found any spoilers in the internet before reading it.  My heart was aching on every scene. This book is an emotional ride. I loved that there’s a bit romance in this book and even though I can’t think of a good thing happening on the third book, I enjoyed it while it lasted. And also, my big wish and theory happened, so I am in peace. I can’t say it was everything I wanted, because I wanted more from some characters and I can’t even let my mind think about that because my heart will break. And I always want more. But this book is FULL OF FEELS.

Marie Lu is an excellent story teller and she’s my writing hero. I was so happy to read a book written by her again. I missed her so much. She’s such an inspiration.

ALL THE STARS FOR THE ROSE SOCIETY.

  1. I’ve been hearing so many wonderful things about this series. I can’t believe I haven’t picked them up yet. I’m intrigued by the fact that the main character is essentially the villain and I think exploring the mind set of her character is really interesting. Great review.
