Book Review: Ruin And Rising (Grisha #3) by Leigh Bardugo

Perfect ending for one of the best series I’ve ever read.

This is the final book in The Grisha Trilogy. Let me tell you, this book was everything I wanted from this series and any series ever. This book has the perfect ending! I don’t want to go on details of the reasons why I loved it so much because I don’t want to give any kind of spoiler. The only thing I want to say is that as an aspiring author, this book fulfilled my expectative of what a good ending should be like. I read that some people are disappointed with it but I would have been disappointed if it didn’t happened like this. I was very scared to finish it and right now all I want to do is go back and read those last few pages and cried and smile.

In the Grisha trilogy I found what I was looking for in a book series and more. It didn’t only  pleased me as reader but, also as a writer. Leigh Bardugo is amazing! I want to hug her and I want her to be my writing mentor because she will understand me.

I am so glad I met Alina. In her I found my fictional twin. She reminded me of me a lot of times. I am so glad I met Mal, my new book boyfriend. And the Darkling, because from the start he was one of my favorite characters.

If you haven’t read this book yet, you should because is wonderful, beautiful and nothing you’ve ever read before. Even when I tell people about it and get tears in my eyes.

And if you’re curious about this series, go and read it now.

Shadow And Bone is the first book. Check my review here.

  1. See, girl? I told you that you had nothing to worry about. This book will probably be my all-time favorite of Leigh’s..but then again we’ll have to see what happens with her work in the future! I’m so glad that you love this series as much as I do and that we can fangirl together over it.
