From Screen To Page: Book Blogger Creativity Project

Book Blogger Creativity Project was created by Twitter Chat Queen Nori from ReadWriteLove28 . Bloggers from around the world joined this project and we were set on groups. My group was the Rose group. I was joined with few of my favorite bloggers and we decided to call it The Rose Society. Our book feature is From Screen To Page, were we chose a character from screen (TV or movie) and chose a book we would recommend them.

This is my list:

If there’s a book Sawyer, from my favorite series LOST, would enjoy is Liars, Inc by Paula Stokes. He will totally like the twist in this story and badass Parvati.

I choose Rose Tyler from Doctor Who because she’s one of my favorite female character from all the series I’ve watched.  Choosing a book for her was hard but then I remembered Claudia Gray’s, parallel universes novel, A Thousand Pieces Of You. Time and space traveler fan Rose Tyler would totally love the adventure and romance in A Thousand Pieces Of You.

While reading Six Of Crows by Leigh Bardugo I had the Pirates Of The Caribbean soundtrack in my head all the time. Pirates and heists are the perfect match. And in the last scene of Six Of Crows I felt like I was reading a scene with Jack Sparrow.

Untitled design-3

Regina! The lovely Evil Queen from Once Upon A Time, her perfect book match is The Young Elites by Marie Lu. Adelina is evil but she’s trying to love and be good just like Regina.

Untitled design-5

June Iparis, the female main character from Legend, remind me a lot of Sherlock. She was the beloved prodigy and she never missed a detail. I love both characters but I think Sherlock would find this book lame because of his ridiculous high standards. If you like Sherlock you should try Legend by Marie Lu.

Hope you enjoyed my post!

  1. I love this creative idea! Now that you mention it, Rose/A Thousand Pieces of You and Regina/The Young Elites fit very well together. I haven’t read Six of Crows yet, but I’m really looking forward to it! The spy theme reminds me a lot of the Heist Society series by Ally Carter and the movie Ocean’s 11. I’ll have to read the book to see if the plot lines can compare, though.
