Release Date: March 24th, 2015
Four high school seniors and a meteor threatening to hit Earth. They are a karass. Each have their own story and as they connect, their lives changes. Will the meteor reach Earth? Will they have a second chance?
The story is written in 3rd person but rotating between the four principal characters, Peter, Eliza, Andy and Anita. It might get a little bit hard to get into but once you get into the story it’s easy to handle. I loved the characters since the beginning. They are very twisted and flawed, they have their own story but they know each other and the book goes around that connection between them. The characters and the love I grew for them was the reason why I kept reading this book until the end. I loved their stories, I felt their pain, I understood them. Even though there’s a lot of drinking and sex involved in the story, I love how each of those things gives so much to the characters to their development. The characters are fantastic.
This book is a book that will make you think and reflect about life, this is the beauty of this book. I could describe it as a philosophical book, like those books where you keep reading and nothing is really happening but there’s a message in it that will open your mind in some way.
The conclusion of the book broke my heart but, at the same time is beautiful. I wasn’t expecting to like this book because the middle was too much drama and I getting a bit bored until everything sets in for the end. I still think about this book and my heart aches a little. It’s an experience you should read.
It’s a compelling story like you never read before. Unforgettable characters and unforgettable ending that you won’t regret reading.
