I did a lot of research before deciding to read or not this book. I finally did because it was at the bookstore and it was my first day working there so yey! I bought it.
Ezra was supposed to be homecoming king before few things changed his life. His girlfriend cheated on him, his leg shattered in a car accident and he fell in love with Cassidy Thorpe.
This books talks about how the choices we make are because we want to make them and not because something or someone made us. We throw guilts to everything around us, but at the end we only have to blame ourselves. We can only change for good if we want to, if we realize what is good for us, when we found ourselves. This book is this and more. The author, Robyn Schneider, made an excellent job narrating this story in a boy’s POV. Although I don’t really know what goes around inside the mind of the guys, I am pretty sure it works that way. You get attached easily to the characters, you love them, you hate them and you laugh with them. This is one of those books with a special something that dig deep inside of you and make you grow a little. I love that kind of books.
I totally recommend it. And if you need to make decisions in your life that require big changes you have to read this book. I loved it.
“I wondered what things became when you no longer needed them, and I wondered what the future would hold once we’d gotten past our personal tragedies and proven them ultimately survivable.”
